Paid-up letter refusal

I requested a Settlement letter and they issued it I paid up according to their paid-up letter 1st they said payment not received afterwards I sent proof of payment, and they later marked my account with outstanding. Afterwards they say they will issue paid up letter after 6-8 weeks, but they know how to call daily, and they delayed in issuing the settlement immediately after receipt payment was made. I request my paid-up letter as a matter of urgency. Why do all companies issue after payment reflects. Too many stories can we please be professional
