Daly Credit Corp, give me my settleme letter!!!

My Foschini account was handed over to Daly Credit Corp. I settled my account with them in November, 21st November 2017 to be precise. I asked for a settlement letter and was told it would take 6 weeks to close my file.

During this waiting period I received 3 calls from their agents threatening me with legal action should I not settle my account. I had to explain over and over again that my account has been settled and that I am waiting for a settlement letter from them.

I've called them 3 times since the beginning of 2018. Every time I call I'm made to hold for about 10 minutes while the agent looks through my profile. They usually tell me that I still have an outstanding amount. I often have to tell them that I have paid up and tell them the date. They will put me on hold until I can't hold any longer. I then call back and get a different agent who will tell me that yes, they can see on the system that I've requested a settlement letter a few times already and that it would be sent to me within 2 days after my call. I still don't have a settlement letter!!!

I am tired of calling wasting airtime with these people. My fear is that they will appear again after a month telling me that is till owe when I've paid up. There is something ***** about these guys and don't understand why Foschini deals with them.

What am I supposed to do to get my settlement letter!!! Three months down the line and these people still neglect my pleas. I'm looking for a job and this may affect any prospects of getting one! How heartless are these people! Some of their agents would often tell me how I won't be able to find a job if i don't settle my account. Now I have, and they are playing games.
