****** VEHICLE BATTERY-DALS MONTAGUE GARDENS

On the 10th of May our Kia 2700 bakkie broke down in Melkbosstrand, the vehicle was towed to DALS Montague branch through our insurance.<br> Where it stayed over, because it was a Sunday after hours.<br> The next day, after my fiance struggled to get Dals to deliver the vehicle to our trusted mechanic.We were informed by our mechanic that the the battery is old and rusty and he hadn't seen one like that in years.We had in fact replaced the battery late last year with a new one from Midas.DALS Montague had our keys and the key of the lock on the battery.The battery presented to us by our mechanic was old and rusty.There were also other items missing from inside the vehicle.I contacted them, all they did was say that the vehicle was on there premises.They did not bother to do any further investigation.I was also told that the manager would call me back on Monday the 18th.I am still waiting!I will be filing a police report today.As this battery cost me close to R2000 to replace.
