Customer treatment at Dals Libertas

I brought my car for repairs through my insurance, firstly the Net Assess guys just looked at the damages from outside and never bothered to open the car and try to assess if there were damaged invisible from outside. I then mentioned on the job card that my boot lock may be damaged because my boot wasn't opening. I left the car there for weeks, upon collection yesterday I was then told the boot lock wasn't going to be fixed because it was a pre-existing problem. At that point, firstly I asked why wasn't I told as a client if certain things weren't going to be fixed instead of finding out the worst way which was by check-listing everything myself on collecting the car. Secondly what are they basing the opinion of pre-existing damage on if that's what they believe.

The answers I got from the workshop manager (Beville Dewaal) shouting at me was that I was phoned and told that my boot was not opening, but my response was I knew that hence I mentioned it on the job card on dropping the car, but he couldn't tell me who phoned me to say it wasn't going to be fixed, he just kept shouting at me and trying to blame his staff. He eventually told me it wasn't going to be fixed and that was his final word. However I told him it wasn't his decision to make, it was up to my insurance, then he just told me that we were not in a court of law and he wasn't going to answer me and just left me standing at the reception and never came back. Also today I noticed that my back wiper is wrongly fitted, it's just lying in the middle of the window.

I feel very belittled and disrespected as a client. I'm also an adult and a professional to shouted at and disregarded by another person just because we differ in opinions. I am very DISAPPOINTED at Dals.
