UTTER UNPROFFESIONAL SERVICE

Saw a flat rental on their website and enquired.Was informed that the viewing times are Tuesday and Thursday at 18h00 to 18h00.The estate agent, Melissa du Plessis, informed me telephonically that I can't apply before viewing the property.Drove through from Strand to Greenpoint to view the apartment.Stood outside the property from 18h00 to 19h45.The tenant was not there.When he finally showed up at 19h45 he informed us that the flat has been taken the previous day already.I phoned Melissa today and she apologised and said the owner rented it out without them knowing.But the tenant told us the estate agent called to tell him the viewing is cancelled.I was put through to Mrs Knight (supervisor).She rudely told me the estate agents can't have control over the tenants.They didn't know he won't be there.She also said they as the agents don't have everyone's numbers to inform them that the viewing is cancelled.A lie.I asked if the flat has been taken and she said yes.I asked how could someone take it without viewing and she said they did view.A blatant lie as the viewing times have been set out and the tenant told us no one viewed.Also a total different story to Melissa.They lie!
