My issue is the following: After vacating Culmwood Gardens it was confirmed that I paid an extra month of rent. Kindly remember that no inspection was done when I moved in. See my contract. You gave me permission to paint the bathroom and a wall in the lounge. My refund was paid to me. <br> Please can you explain to me how on earth you can deduct an amount of almost R2000 for 'repainting and wear and tear' . <br> There was no inspection done, therefore based on what are you actually penalizing me ??? I kept to my side of the deal and repainted that which I had painted. If you are unhappy with the result , it is your responsibility to repaint it at your own expense and in any case you would've had to repaint for the new tenant. The size of that bathroom is probably 1m x 2 m. A 5l can of paint is too much for the wall space which had to be re-painted. Please tell me how you justify withholding R2000 of my deposit. Please tell me what wear and tear you are penalizing me for and why on earth my extra month's rent was not even paid back to me in full ? <br> <br>
