Extremely poor service

In November 2017 I requested the maintenance department fix a faulty light switch in my townhouse. They arrived, did a make shift job, and left me with no outside light working and still a faulty light switch where my finger could go through it. At the same time I reported what I assumed to be a water leak in the one bedroom which had turned mouldy. He promised to return the next day but did not. On the 6th January 2018 I followed up as to why no one had returned (understanding that it had been holiday time etc). I eventually received a mail back on the 12th January. There offices were not closed over this period - that alone is a very poor response time. Eventually he returned on 1st February to see to the light switch. He had subsequently forgotten about the mould I requested he look at and I reminded him. Painters were sent to cover up the problem - no cleaning, and no inspection done as to the problem. But at least I had a fixed light switch and outdoor light.

The next morning I requested telephonically that someone check the roof to see for leaking etc so that the problem does not occur again. I sent a follow up email requesting for them to notify me of the findings. This was on 7th February.

Today, 14th February, I received a mail stating that I do not ventilate my townhouse. The mail went on to explain how mould is formed, like I am stupid. In fact, as of today, there is another watermark on the ceiling, exactly where the painters covered up two weeks ago. It is clearly not mould when it starts out. The windows have been open in the bedroom plus other windows in the upstairs area too. If this is left it will become mouldy like the last time it was left.

I rep**** immediately to the mail today and still have had no response.

Daleglen, your service is extremely poor and I am disappointed by your lack of urgency to assist your tenants. You are quick to take our rental and send increase letters but are not very quick to assist a genuine problem.
