Not refunding deposit

We were required to pay a 10% deposit when submitting an offer on a repo property in November and were assured that we could retract our offer at any time as long as the offer had not been accepted by the relevant trustees. On retraction our deposit would be repaid to us immediately. We sent an e-mail retracting our offer on 9 February 2015, as no progress had been make on the offer. We received a reply confirming the cancellation and that we would receive our money shortly. After numerous phone calls and time limits with threats of legal action, we STILL have not received our deposit back. Daintree obviously are very fast to insist on a deposit, but slow to pay up. We now cannot make an offer on any other property until we receive our money back.
