Pathetic service: poor communication fabrications and other large issues: Multifranchise for Daihatsu in Roodepoort 0 out of 10!

This is the most frustrating service I have ever exprienced: Multi Franchise Roodepoort servicer for Daihatsu SA . My electronic key broke. I paid R4 200+_ to have them at the dealership which had to be programmed electronically.I paid for the key in advance and a light bulb on Tuesday August 27,2018. I left my vehicle at exactly 07h00 today Thursday: the car was booked in. When I made the booking on Tuesday I was assured that the process only took 60 minutes (by the parts employee). I was not advised at all that I was fifth (5th) on the list and for the day of the programming of the key on Thursday August 30 so the electronic setting could only be done after the first five (5) vehicles had been attended to.I realise in retrospect that I should have been suspicious that the Multifranchise the driver Andrew approached me to ask if he could take me to my workplace. Before I left I advised the service "book-in" lady her that their MF's listed telephone number did not work since it rang over and over and no one answered. She muttered under her breath in a dismissive manner an alternative number and promptly assisted a new client that had walked in. I was seething but due to my health I decided not to cause a public scene. At 09h30 I was phoned by the same service lady who asked me where the "spare" key was(sic).I in informed her that the reason why the car was booked in was to reprogram the "new" electronic for which I had paid 2 days before that! I said to her that she was in possession of the the spare key it was given to her when the car was booked in . I then had to explain to her that the key had arrived at the dealership the previous day (Wednesday) and that the parts dept. sent me an sms informing me that the "key" had arrived. Eventually to came to the realisation that she was asking me an ******** question. Two and a half hours later at 12h00 I was called to say that they are "now sending the vehicle to the locksmith". I asked her why she was telling me this because the vehicle was in possession of my vehicle for a full 5 hours! I asked her for the manager's cell number. At +- 13h00 or so the parts manager called. I missed a seminar this afternoon because of the delay and I took possession of my car "sine" a programmed key. I now have been advised by Mr. Richard van Rooyen that they have to wait for "Head Office" to send a person to programme the key: I have been advised "Head Office" will only send someone out sometime next week: they will call me! This is aftersales service! It is theft if I get charged for labour in the light of me having to effectively disobey a an instruction from my senior at work to attend a late afternoon seminar in Sandton! H/O Daihatsu would do well to call me. Advice to all Daihatsu Owners: do not damage or break your electronic car vehicle key! This could happen to you!when Maneeb called me to assist he only found out that their listed number (010) 492 6594 was "giving "problems".Maneeb Peck (Parts Manager) and Andrew gave me good service: as far as the rest is concerned I have drawn my own conclusion that the Japanese culture of "Keizen" does not exist at MF dealers for Daihatsu, at least not at Roodepoort MF!I really would like Daihatsu SA to contact me to discuss whether they can give me a more expeditious response which was "sometime next week I will phone you about a day before so that HO technicians" and "it is month-end" they can only attend to programming my key in to my car immobiliser/ alarm. The vehicle remains impressive the service by MF is worse than ammateurish!

Mr. Muneeb Peck Parts Manager referred me to Mr. Jaco van de Berg, the dealer principal of the Multi Franchise on Friday last week. Mr. van de Berg secured the attaention of their Head Office's technicians to programme my key and delivered it to me today. All resolved. If it was not for Muneeb Peck's referral of me to Mr. van de Berg I have no idea where this matter would have been left!
