Ilze Maree 1/5 just now on Google We stayd 2 days and everything was ok, owner told us that they are busy with upgrades then and will finish soon. We did not mind, we were informed. After 3 weeks, We decided to book in again for 7 nights, as the location is good and it's safe. However, we booked in because I had to go to hospital, which is a stressful time. My family could not rest properly, unfortunately (after 3 weeks) they were still busy with upgrades, we were not once informed which would made us choose a different location and guesthouse. The owner knew exactly why we were booked in for the 2nd time. Unfortunately there were noise since just after 7h00 in the mornings till 17h00. When we complaint, I was told by the owner, that she did not know that guests still sleep till 8h00?? I mean, if you are a guest and you pay to stay at a guesthouse, I did not know you were supposed to be up by 7h00, like a hostel. There is no privacy, the workers walks all over the property, does not matter whether you still in your pj's. The owner's attitude towards sleeping times is unacceptable and ridiculous. I'm just out of hospital, and the whole family had to be woken up by 7h00 with drilling noise. I had to endure that for 1 day, my family had to endure it the entire week!! Then the workers put on their radio and the noise level increases. We decided to leave 2 days earlier, which we paid for. But clearly the owner's does not feel any respect towards it's guests.
