Cycle Mania in Waterkloof Glen is tops with service and price

Part-time gardener D's bicycle gears broke. The bicycle was his only means of transport during lockdown. Cycle repair shop 1 said they don't do repairs on cheap cycles (this was entry level R1500 cycle), repair shop 2 said repairs will cost more than to replace the bicycle. A friend who had bought a bicycle at Cycle Mania and raved about their good service and expert advice, referred me to Cycle Mania. It is a tiny but busy shop. The owner, Jan, said its possible to fix it for under R500, but it might take 1-2 weeks as he is short-staffed and might struggle to get the parts. We left the bicycle at Cycle Mania. An hour later the owner called. He did have the parts, fixed the bicycle, and it was less than R300! D has travelled over 200kms on this bicycle since it was fixed, no glitches. I will definitely buy my next bicycle from Cycle Mania, and recommend them for repairs.
