False advertising, Not Secure, Endless fees, terrifs and chargers

Please save yourself a lot of heartache and never move in here. People are constantly moving out, no one is happy here.

I moved here some time last ever, initially I thought the I was going to pay just my monthly rent and my utilities. I live alone, so I never expected my utilities to be high or anything, plus I switch off the gyser and I hardly have any appliances on. The utilities are contracted with a company called GRID CONTROL TECHNOLOGY. In my opinion, this is the dodgiest company I've ever came across.

Firstly before you can even begin to purchase your utilities, you have to pay GRID CONTROL TECHNOLOGY 10% Admin fee on utility purchases. You have to pay again additional sanitation tariffs that increase now and then to GRID CONTROL TECHNOLOGY, and after all that's done then you get to pay for water and electricity. For a person living alone, very frugal and hardly ever switches the stove on or washing machine, you are looking on giving GRID CONTROL TECHNOLOGY roughly R2000+ a month. When you have a family, it gets a lot worse than that.

After all this, you pay your monthly rent that can increase at anytime without any warning whatsoever. The estate is somewhat degrading, with the gate malfunctioning frequently and sometimes the gate is removed for days on end, leaving the place completely vulnerable as any person can enter at any given time. There is practically minimal to no presence of security. So many things are wrong here!

Save yourself heartache and move else where.
