CyberFX took my money

Good morning. On the 30th of November 2018 i logged a quiry with what that happened to me whiles i was trading so i contacted the support team and i am not happy at all because i was so excited to my new relationship with CyberFX after i closed all my international trading accounts to support our own local broker. I am writing to you with sadness that i feel ****** because i have an extensive experience of trading with different brokers but due to their spread, swap and commission structures i joined many and closed many accounts then i was recommended CyberFX by a fellow trader that uses CyberFX and showed me your spread, swap and commission structure and i was highly impressed and decided to open a live trading account with CyberFX to test and see for myself, so i funded with $7.25 to check out their service and i was impressed because it took me less than an Hour to open and fund my live trading account then i started trading live selling USDCAD, and so around 15:20 pm i had 4 live running positions opened not pending orders waiting to be triggered, and as i was trading around 15:20 - 15:25 pm i took screenshots on my phone while i was setting my stop loss at the following price for all the running trades which was at 1.33050 locking profits for this 3 positions opened at 1.33147, 1.33121 and 1.33071, so i had my other 4th position which was running at a loss at this price of 1.32939 with the same stop loss as the other 3 positions which was 1.33050 then at 15:30 pm the was a strong buy that produced a buy candle stick at this prices 1.32926 that went all the way up to 1.33252 and to my shocking surprise that buy candle stick went and pushed through my stop loss set at 1.33050 which was supposed to close all my trades without losing my equity and the balance of the profits of the 3 positions which were in profits. Even now my case is not attended and my money is lost without any reason.

Hi Lesabe

Thank you for choosing Cyber FX, we appreciate your support.

Kindly note that you were stopped out on all your trades due to your account balance and lot size opened, you did not have enough margin to hold the trade.

More details are now sent to your email.

Many thanks.

Regards
Salome

Good Afternoon Lesabe,

Thank you for the email you sent us today.

We had a closer look at your query for your short positions of USDCAD pairs.

I think you might have made an error when you were setting your safety parameters more especially with regards to your stop loss settings.

As you are well aware, given the considerable experience you have when it comes to trading, whenever you short a position as was in this case, the expectation is that the price of that particular pair will decrease.

Given that situation your stop loss would have to be above the entry price.

Your entry prices were : 1.33147; 1.33071 and your SL levels were both at 1.33050.

Next time we would suggest you carefully fami****ize yourself with critical trading concepts instead of rushing to public forums with incorrect information.

All my trades were closed automatically by your system at this price 1.33286 and all my trades had a stop loss at this price 1.33050 it doesn't make sense at all. How can a price that was supposed to be stoped at 1.33050 reach 1.33286 For an example, if you are going to do some shopping and before you leave the house you go to your banking app and you find your balance saying you have R1800 and you set your card to swiping limit of a R1000 then you go do your shopping and as you put your items on the basket they exceed R1000 and come up to R1800. Now tell me when the cashier at the till swipes your card for the total of R1800 and you set your limit to a R1000 will your card decline or approve the transaction then leave your bank balance with R0.0 That is what happened with my trading account which i set a stop loss so that no trades should go take my balance.

All my accounts were closed with immediate effect and my money went down the drain that i was disputing for. I am escalating this matter to South African Ombudsman and FSCA’s
