Legacy Lifestyle loyalty programme
<p>Good day. I wish to advise of my problems with the above loyalty programme. We set up our profile and transferred all of our Voyager points into Legacy miles to make use of their benefit programme - especially the travel programme/specials. We could exchange our miles for accommodation at various destinations. Then in October, Legacy ran a promotion and if we converted our voyager miles to legacy points then they would double our points. This was a good deal for us as it would translate to many points and ensure us a very nice vacation somewhere. That being said, upon attempting myself to transfer the voyager miles to legacy points online, we found we were unable to exchange the miles so Legacy had to convert these miles manually for us. They let us know that we would still take advantage of the doubling. Then they informed us that we would have to use the doubled miles within 30 days telling us that it would take 30 days to effect the manual conversion - thereby effectively nullifying the conversion bonus. Upon enquiry and conversation with my husband, explaining the flaws of their agreement, they agreed to double our legacy points despite the 30 day conversion period. Proviso was that we would book our intended travel stay with their travel call centre. Since the 16th November 2015, we are still waiting for the doubling of our points to take effect and reflect as such. I have tried on several occasions to book accommodation unsuccessfully due to not enough points being available or our choice of accommodation not being available on selected dates. Most recently, we were told that a place we selected to travel to was not part of their legacy programme despite being advertised on their website. Many thanks.</p>
