Horrible service

I submitted a claim with claim no: CTP***7 in August, I was advised Schalk is the one dealing with the query. Since August until now I have not received any communication from him even after sending him emails to follow up. I called on 14/09 and was provided with Leanie’s email who is a liability manager, I sent an email and the response was “ WOP Good afternoon Bellina We are currently awaiting the necessary fund in order to proceed with your claim. I have followed up with the client and will revert upon receipt of their feedback.”

Until today I haven’t heard from anyone and I did state on the email sent to Leanie that I could be moving offices so I want to know when will the assessor come to assess the car. Another problem now is that the car is getting more damaged because I use it on a daily basis, I have to pay for those extra damages.

Good morning Bellina
Thank you for taking the time to bring this matter to our attention. Please also refer to the email that was sent to you for more information. As previously advised on 16th September 2020, we are awaiting the necessary funds from our client in order to proceed with your claim, however I have requested and received authorisation to proceed with your claim despite the aforementioned. I note from the documentation that you have provided, that the damages to your vehicle exceeds R50 000.00 and as such, the consultant appointed an assessor to prepare a report in order for us to finalise your claim. We have been informed that the assessor has made contact with you this morning to make the necessary arrangements. Upon receipt of the assessor's report, we will be in a position to provide you with a settlement offer. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused. Should you have any further queries, please contact us on ***. Regards, CLC

What is the purpose of having an accident report if it is no use? I’ve waited over 5months for them to tell me that they will pay 80% because my version and that of their client is contradicting each other and due to his version I could have avoided the accident. I will not accept the offer as I was not at fault, their client needs to cover the full amount. If we have to settle this in court then so be it.
