Custom Couches - The worst experience - Ever!

Beware of Custom Couches! I bought an L Shape unit from them this year at the Bloemshow in May 2019. The couches on the floor looked great, high quality and the salesman was very positive. He promised us all the warranties and guarantees that you would expect that comes with a couch. We even opted in for the "Fibreguard Stain Proof" deal.

But, when it came to delivery there was excuse upon excuse!~After a couple of phone calls and me eventually yelling the couches got delivered. (Granted iI understand that they are based in Gauteng and had to deliver in Bloemfontein)

I sat back and looked at my fine purchase only to realize that the couches did not align. I moved it around the house on different floors just to make sure it was not the floor that was uneven. Nope couches are still not aligning!

I figured out the cushions were too big for some of the couches and that is causing the miss alignment - so off with the cushions and tried again -the same result.

But ok - maybe I can live with that. After 3 months the cushions went flat - I am talking R20 PEP cushion flat while some stayed very stiff? The couches started to make cracking sounds when you sit on - something is wrong here.

I contacted Custom Couches and explained that the couches are not aligning and that the cushions are flat and "dented" and that the couch is screaming in agony every time you sit down. The reply I got is that I should send an email and Marco will get back to me. After a week she got back to me and said my floors are uneven but they will sort out the cushions. Ok - great at least I will get one of them here and they can take a look at the wonky couch and then see it is not the floor. So after a while, I followed up on when they are planning to do the replacement and that is when the party started. - 10 phones calls, countless WhatsApp's and about 30 emails later - not one flippen response! They refuse to help, they refuse to contact me back. I have begged, I have threatened but to no avail. They are just ignoring me.

So please - when you are looking for the next couch or sofa set for your home - do not spend your hard-earned cash with these idiots. They have no clue about customer service, they deliver a bad product and all warranties etc are not fulfilled. Custom Couches, in my opinion, is a massive ****!
