CANCELLED CONTRACT YET DEBIT ORDER STILL DEDUCTED

<p>I joined Curves Edgemead November 2015, was told by the consultant that I should not worry that I would be joining and not using the facility, after explaining that I have a very busy life, work long hours and am need motivation, I was assured that they would phone me if I did not come to classes. Month followed month, my debit order ran and I never attended Curves nor ever got that "call" as promised. When the membership was due to end after the year, I didn't bother to make contact, Until I noticed my debit order running every month off my account still, so I contacted the club on 3rd March and was told that I had to give a month's notice. After complaining about the promise to phone me if I missed classes, I was told that they only phoned after I went 3 times, really??????I then emailed them same day to advise to cancel the membership with immediate effect, It is not 1 June and GUESS WHAT, my debit order is still running. I emailed last month and have yet to receive any repsonse to my email. I AM NOT VERY HAPPY AND EXPECT MY PAYMENT REIMBURSED TO ME.</p>
