Useless School

I am extremely disappointed in Curro as an institution, and in particular with Curro The Blyde.

At the open day in December last year, I enrolled my child at the school and was informed that we qualified for a half-price discount for enrolling during that period. We were satisfied with this arrangement, paid the enrollment fee, and proceeded on that basis.

However, when reviewing the statement, I noticed that the discounted amount had been added back to the school fees, meaning we were expected to pay it. Initially, I assumed this was an administrative error that the school would resolve, but unfortunately, that has not been the case.

I visited the school twice to discuss the matter with the finance officer, Debbie, but on both occasions I received no assistance. I then escalated the matter to the principal, who expressed remorse and gave me the impression it would be handled. To date, however, no follow-up has taken place and the incorrect amount still reflects on the statement.

This is unacceptable. Please advise urgently how this matter will be corrected. It is extremely concerning that such errors are left unresolved, and I am relieved that I have already made the decision to move my child to another school that is able to manage such matters responsibly.
