Not recommendable

<p>My son and daughter attended Durbanville Curro years ago and I can only say that if you live the Durbanville catchment area, then run far away from Curro! Durbanville Prep/Primary, Gene Louw or Eversdal are by far superior in the quality of teachers, sport activities and cross culture intergration, in my opinion.</p> <p>We moved from the UK and chose Curro by website and it took 3 years to get our kids out and into a decent school in my opinion , that is Durbanville Prep and now Primary where my children learnt the greatest value of respecting all cultures and accepting others for who they are whilst keeping to your own belief system.</p> <p>My children have a great variety of friendships accross cultures and I can say that the ethos of Curro does not in my opinion advocate a future south african but a past feel of apartheid that still lives in its management.</p> <p>I recall an unqualified teacher, impatient and shouting at children behind closed doors as I listened in the hallway. Addressing the matter with the vice principal at the time, Olivia, I was told that children need to be shouted at because they don't listen. </p> <p>Shocking that people have so few choices of good schools that you are forced to go to a private school like Curro. </p> <p>I am happy to have made the change, for my children are confident and well adjusted and all of this came at a fraction of the price of Curro.</p>
