The boarding experience was very hostile, the guardians assigned for us were harsh beings who don’t care for the children around them, the food was cold and in small portions, the mentally challenged children were overlooked by the staff to points of suicidal attempts, and there was a lack of empathy, the disciplinary ruling was unfair to learners with unrealistic rules for children. Spaces such as school should serve as a learning area and should be conducive for children especially those living on campus it shouldn’t be spaces that imprison them.
