High price for substandard schooling

Having been part of the Curro "family" for a bit over 4 years our utter disappointment and disillusionment with this school is heartbreaking. If I had the financial means I would attempt to recover the entire amount wasted on school fees at this institution. As parents we really wanted to invest in the foundation phase education of our children and believed through their promises that Curro would deliver this. Our disillusionment was huge, when after a few altercations with the school regarding alleged non-payment of school fees (we can provide written proof that the school was in the wrong and admitted it) we removed our children from Curro. They were so far behind in any realistic terms that it would take absolute months to catch up paired with a reasonable amount of money for extra classes, reading classes etc.. I am personally aware of many learners that have left Curro and are struggling to the same degree. Not to talk about the victimisation of children at this school paired with ************** and no action taken against bully's. Between Mr du Toit, Mrs Goodhead and Mrs du Plessis they are unable to provide quality education, resolve problems and issues or controll their staff. I would advise parents to look carefully before going to Curro Serengeti and to ensure that they personally monitor their child's progress as you can not rely on the results or report cards produced by this school.
