Curro Durbanville has no heart

I am very disappointed in the way Curro Durbanville High is aggressively wanting to terminate my son's schooling at the school due to an account I'm held accountable for. I have made every effort to be transparent and honest in my attempts to get the account up to date. I even met with the bursar and Executive Head. I also changed jobs so I could use my previous job provident pay out to pay school fees. I app**** for a school discount beginning of the year which was granted for 3months at 30 % discount on condition of renewal when I re-applh after the first 3 months. The initial 3 month discount was never added and deducted from the school account from the beginning year. I supp**** all my supporting documents requested. I also emailed the bursar throughout the year to please add the discount. No action was taken. I even had my new employer give a partial bursary to the school fees beginning of the year. I received a letter of demand mid September for full payment of outstanding fees by the 30th September 2024. I emailed again stating no discount was added and it also affected me negatively with the delays from the bursar for me to renew my discount for the rest year. On the 1st October 2024 I received the school account and only then is the discount app**** from the 1st 3 months. They delayed to a point I couldn't apply for more school financial assistance and know the true value of the account owed. I again received a letter of demand or my son's Education will be terminated end of this year. I was always forthcoming as my son's only breadwinner when his father passed away from cancer and I was trying every thing possible to keep my son in Curro Durbanville High.

This school is very unfair cause not only I was affected negatively with the school account but I missed all deadlines for alternative schools for tye new year in my area. This school has no heart for children with single parents who trying to give their children a good education
