Collective incompetence between Curro Aurora and Norton Lambrianos Attorneys

I received a summons for an outstanding account even though a payment arrangement was in place with Norton Lambrianos Attorneys who is responsible for collection of arrears accounts on behalf of Curro Aurora. Said summons was delivered to my address of approximately 10 years ago (Middelburg, Mpumalanga) even though we have been living in Johannesburg for 7 years, which is where my son has been going to school. It is by sheer coincidence that the woman residing at this old address knows my mother who forwarded said correspondence. Our contract with Curro Aurora clearly stipulates our physical address and each year the school require parents to update their information with the school. Clearly a waste of everyone's time as the Attorneys confirmed that they received my physical address directly from the school. Norton Lambrianos Attorneys seem determined not to afford you the opportunity to respond or defend the action taken against you, why else deliver it to an incorrect address? It is clear that their only goal is to obtain a garnishee order so that they can add their fees to justify and pay for their miserable existence. After numerous phone calls with Curro Head Office (Curro Aurora Accounts Department is closed for the holidays) and Norton Lambrianos Attorneys it is still unclear how this outdated information was obtained. I advise anyone who deal with either of these institutions to proceed with caution, the summons received contains 37 errors and all facts stated in this review can be corroborated with documentation and emails if challenged. Our interaction with Curro Aurora has truly been the worst experience of our adult lives. This account has been settled in the interim.
