Bad school

I wish i could give Curro North Riding College a lower rating as they don't even deserve this 1. I registered my 3year old little boy for their pre primary group 3 class starting January 2023, before making the decision to put him in this school I visited the school over 3times, and they definitely sold themselves with a whole lot of lies. From the first day my son started I was receiving message of how he is crying and does not want to settle and nap etc. as some weeks went on I started communicating with his teacher as how we can help him settle in, to which she responded I can fetch him earlier, earlier being 11am as that’s the time they go down to nap. I paid in full for the year for a half day of school which starts from 8am to 2pm and did not see how that was a solution. For valentines day, a message was sent that the kids will be having a fun “HANDS ON” chocolate making experience, they will be given aprons and hats and the opportunity to make 4 of their own chocolates, obviously at a price, I did not hesitate and paid for my son to enjoy this experience. On valentines day when he got home I asked him about his hat and the experience etc. to which he responded, “no mum , I didn’t make it , teacher said we must not stand up from our chairs” When I then asked the teacher she said that they were working with stoves and hot chocolate she had to worry about the kids safety, so what exactly did we pay for ? and when you a teacher of 2 and 3 year olds you should know to choose a better , safter activity. Since I questioned this the teacher was extremely rude to us , every time I would raise a concern she would respond with a fault in my child. Every day I would fetch my child he would be telling me how his being singled out and also how other kids are hitting him. The last straw was on the 8th of March my child came home with his head paining , he cried about it the entire afternoon when I asked him what happened he said the swing hit him in the head. I immediately messaged the teacher to which she responded she does not respond after hours usually, nothing was reported he probably just has a HEADACHE, I don’t know how a 3year old will know what’s a headache. A few days later I notices a big dry scab in his head exactly where he said the swing him , meaning it hit his head open, unfortunately on the day he told me I did not think twice to check nicely after the teacher said she knows nothing. When we requested a meeting with the HOD after making the decision to take him out, she was very uninterested (as she resigned) and said to us she thinks its best we take him out. Did not mention once that she will check the cameras, or chat to the teacher to find out what’s going on absolutely NOTHING. I hate to stay this however its very clear that if you are not a certain color in a Curro school you are just a number, also the school is running like a business. Not to mention the 100 forms and requests that now must be completed for this camera footage. I mean in a pre-primary school should that be the main priority, cameras all over!!!!
