Appalling Treatment by Curro Academy Mahikeng Finance Department

I am beyond disappointed with the treatment I’ve received from the finance department at Curro Academy Mahikeng regarding my child. Despite trying to settle my outstanding fees of R26,000 in good faith by paying in R10,000 installments and requesting leniency due to financial difficulty, I have been met with shocking rudeness and zero compassion.

The finance officer, Pinkie, told me to “borrow money from friends,” and that even if I brought the EFF or the President, it wouldn’t change anything—my child would still be terminated. She added that she “doesn’t care” if my child stays at home and made cruel remarks when I asked for his report to seek placement at another school.

After four years of being a loyal and paying parent, I am now faced with the painful reality that my child may miss out on education due to the heartless and arrogant conduct of Curro staff. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from a school that claims to care about children’s futures.

Parents, think twice before enrolling your child here. Curro should be held accountable for the emotional and educational damage caused by their staff’s behavior.
