DO NOT USE CURATIVE HOLDINGS FOR MOVING, THEIR SERVICE IS EXTREMELY BAAAAD.

My stuff was collected from my house on 16 December 2020 and was told it will reach home (KZN Pomeroy) within the next two days, and I was relived because I needed to use those items for the event I was having the following weekend. The stuff was delivered on the 19 December, and unfortunately I was not there when the got home but then I thought since they have a checklist, there wont be a problem, since I signed the checklist when they were done uploading the items into the truck. Little did I know that, that checklist is just a piece of paper that does not serve any purpose.

I was charged R200.00 for the staircase as I lived on the second floor and I was never told about the pricing for the stairs, I was only asked "on which floor am I at" I told them 2nd floor and that was it. They almost didn't take my washing machine because I told "it was not included on their list for items to be collected" then I had to check my emails sent to them to prove that the washing machine was on the quotation. So when my stuff eventually arrived home, my stand was in three pieces without the connecting rod that held it together but when it left my house it was in one piece, my pedestals were damaged, the other one is even cracked, the piece that was cracked has fallen fall off. My base sets for 3 beds were cracked, my washing basket was torn and my huge mirror and pink scatter cushions were not delivered.

In one of the Jim boxes I had 8 door handles but only 6 were delivered. I went through so much trouble to get those handles but some were ******. I also had a chocolate in there, that too wasn't there only a wrapper was there. I am so disappointed at the way things have happened, I don't understand how can some of the things not be transported, wasn't there a checklist that guided them to what needed to be transported.

I called to notify them of the missing items and the stuff that's damaged and was told 'there's a truck that's coming to KZN on the 27 of December and my stuff will be coming with that truck", and also send them an email for the damaged stuff which I did with pictures, till today that truck hasn't arrived in my hometown. I call them to find out the status of my my query and I'm told I should resend the email since the lady that helped me then no longer works there, I send the email but still nothing gets done, not even a courtesy call to say "mam we got your email and we will update you on the progress" nothing. They are just quite as if they did me a favor by moving my stuff. They are so unprofessional and does treat other people's stuff with respect. I'm planning to go to their premises because I am tired of the behavior. Do yourself a favor and do not use these people because you don't get value for your money.
