SERVICE AT CUPCAKE BOUTIQUE LONEHILL

I would like to start off by categorically stating that I have used this supplier before and have been impressed by them in the past. I decided to them again based on my previous experience. <br> <br> When we arrived at the shop to collect the cake, it looked nothing like the reference image provided. The fondant covering was so wobbly and uneven, it didnt look professionally made.<br> <br> Left with no options, we took the cake. The top two tiers started sinking into the bottom tier, therefore cracking the outside of the cake. In trying to salvage the situation, the chef at the hotel (party venue) separated the tiers to re-attempt to stabilise it and that's when we discovered that the Cupcake Boutique bakers had used drinking straws to hold our cake together. <br> <br> We tried to communicate with Colleen, the owner of the Cupcake Boutique at the Lonehill Shopping Centre, and she refuses to take any responsibility in the substandard quality in service that she and her staff gave us. We couldn't even use the cake at the event and she refuses to give us a refund. I'll never order anything from the Cupcake Boutique ever again. Completely disappointed in Colleen and her limited customer service skills.
