CUM fails to pay their writers
<p>My friend Elsje Neethling is a writer and has co-written a book with renowned christian writer, Maretha Maartens. Elsje's book is on the e-book best seller list and up until today, Elsje has not receive ANY monies for her best-selling product over the course of TWO (2) years. We would love to hear CUM Books' reasons for not paying up.</p>

Elsje Neethling and Maretha Maartens, the co-author of the book Ek droom van ‘n droom, have both received 5 royalty payments from CUM Uitgewers since its release in September 2012. The book has been out of print since October 2014, but there are still some copies available through bookstores. The authors have already received royalties on all the books sold to the trade, even those that are still selling. No queries have been sent to the publisher in two years, but CUM Uitgewers will gladly engage with the authors on any queries. We are willing to make the statements available for an audit.
