Good and bad

I found out about Cudub through a connection that used them and were happy. He is an electronic engineer (like me) so I trusted his opinion. PROs: 1. Their price was very good and they only install reputable equipment like Sunsynk. 2. I was happy with their physical installation job - the way they mount the panels, cables, etc. They came back the next day to give me the COC and were quite responsive for the first few months. CONs 1. At one point the workers on the roof were mounting the panels skew but because took the day off to supervise the process I saw it in time. Their manager made them redo it but if I wasn't there it would have been a dilemma. 2. They did not customise the settings of the inverter so in order to get maximum usage out of the battery and power saving I had to study the inverter thoroughly - that was not a problem for me since I'm an engineer but it will be for a non-technical person. 3. After about 6 months they stopped replying to me completely. I would ask a question on WhatsApp maybe once a month up to then - and it was always in a friendly spirit. I never expected them to come to my house and do something - only to tell me what to do via text or voice message. I even requested a quote for additional work. They probably figured after 6 months I'm not going to sue them if they don't honor their much longer guarantees. CONCLUSION: Would I use them again if I buy a new house or recommend them to a friend? No - on both questions. Even though their work was good you don't want to be hung out to dry without support after a few months.
