Traumatic experience at Cubanna
To all you independent ladies who still like going out to restaurants or clubs please listen up about how human trafficking happens. And please don't go to Cubanna midrand. I have concluded tonight that the ladies that disappear and are never found are not just slay queens. Actually, most of them are independent women...like we were tonight.
So me and my girls decided to spend our Wednesday night at Cubanna and we refused for any guy to join us. At the end of the night when we had just paid our bill I went to the loo. When I came back I found this foreign guy in my sit. He starts a comotion but I ignore him and continue talking to my girls, asking what he's doing there. They also have no idea as he assumed my seat as soon as I went to the loo. I still try my best to ignore him even after the my girls told me no one invited him to our table. He just starts swearing at me calling me a **** so that the whole club can assume i had to owe him something for him to start saying such things. He created a scene no matter how much we tried to ignore him. To top it off my friend was still holding her last drink and he found a way (through the commotion) to spill her drink all over her. We tried to walk out of Cubanna but the bouncer also treated us like trash and that prompted us to request for the manager to report the pervertious ways they've treated us. But the foreign bouncer told us we were looking for trouble and there was no manager who was going to see us. The guy who provoked us walked out the door and exchanged friendly handshakes with the foreign bouncer, and the bouncer explicitly told him to ignore us and to come back next time. We ended up walking out as there was no hope for us. The waitresses just looked as us like we are crazy, the other patrons who saw us the whole night were confused....I think they felt when a foreign national is involved nothing can be done.
So here's the kicker... The guy who provoked us was staring at us the whole night...we ignored him As soon as I went to the loo then he came to our table and sat in my chair He came after we paid our bill (a huge amount) He started the commotion and made it revolve around us being ****s and kinda owing him something The whole club was siding with him...even the waiters The new girls who pay for their own drinks aren't travelling with a man...so no protection. Had we walked out after the commotion you (our loved ones would be posting missing pics on Facebook) it was over. We waited a bit for the manager and left as soon as we noticed he wasn't coming, otherwise it would have been easy for him to drag us to his car and drug us
My assumption is make sure there's a guy in your group because it's easy for them to take advantage of an all female group.
If you have a missing loved one, I think you should request a video of the night she disappeared at the spot she disappeared.
I felt helpless tonight and I hope y'all ladies never get to experience the treatment at Cubanna.
