The disgruntling night out at Cubana

I had one of the most disgusting service experience I have ever witnessed. My friends and I got there at 21;30 and naturally, we were told the tables were all occupied and that we should put our names down on the list and make ourselves comfortable at the bar as we would be called up as soon as a table is available. We did not have a problem with this and did as told. 2 hours later there was a huge influx of people and we were still not allocated a table. A well known friend of mine walked in, we shared a hug and he was immediately allocated a table because he is a 'regular and a big spender' as he put it after I shared my concerns with him. When we asked how far down we were on the list we got a very vague and blatantly rude "We are busy" from the two hostesses at the door. Two guys who occupies a table invited us over and we went to sit with them in the meantime with the hopes that we would get a table. When we asked the waitress who was serving the gentlemen for some service she frowned on us and walked away. She then went to the hostesses at the door and I overheard her complaining about us moving to the table with the gentlemen and her being too tired to serve all seven of us including these gentlemen. She then came back a few minutes later ( approximately at 11: 58) and told us she was instructed by her superior not to serve us drinks at that table after 00:00. By this time many people came in and many were allocated tables, people who came hours after us. We then went to the hostesses and complained once more and the ladies at the door told us the people allocated tables made prior bookings. At this point we then asked if we could be shown the booking and we were told "it's none of your business". Mind you, their book of bookings were nothing more than two pieces of torn s**** paper. We were persistent because we felt very cheated and maltreated and met with another reply of "What I say goes so I will not explain my decisions to any of you". Now, the gentlemen we were with had booked initially but were still removed from the table. We were rudely removed and I went to complain about the treatment from the floor manager. The manager told us that at 00:00 they move everyone irrespective of their booking because they try to accommodate those who have been at the bar all night. When I asked why we were then still not allocated a table he told me "If you booked you would not be in this mess" and told me to stop asking him silly questions and he left me outside and dismissed me like *******. We sat there in disbelief, disgust and felt unprotected. I spoke to some of the customers, ladies who were across us who had their table from 7pm and they informed us that that is how you are treated there if you are not a regular and the manager does not know who you are. I am angry and very adamant on bring these people to book. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. The right to dignity and consumer rights have been severe;y infringed here.
