Disgusted by the treatment I got from Cubana Cape Town green point

Good day

Am very upset one of your security guys that was on duty by the door on the 28th of February' 2020 night at Cubana Green point cape Town,he is very resist and rude.

I am a black young African woman who works for the department of arts and culture who normally come to your place with colleagues and local friends. Today I was with white friends Rita and Jess from Colombia who stayed in greenpoint showing them around cape Town on a Friday night before they go home.

I was treated differently and unfairly from them by a security officer at the door who searched my bag and threw away my salad out of my bags that was not even opened in my pick n pay plastic bag inside my hand bag .and he never searched my white friends who were with me, they were told i to just go inside after me being searched.

I asked him why is he treat me differently from my friends why does he not search them, he became so upset and angry told me not to go inside. I was fuming with anger cus I know thats not the way to treat people regardless.

I feel so humiliated and ashamed as a customer. Who thought she has rights likes every one else. I support cubana from way back.

Its sad that we are still treated differently especially by an African man and local business people . I only come to Cubana green point today for my friends to have a feel of how awesome is south Africa cape Town little did it know that I was getting a slap on my face.

My today experience took me back to blacks only and white only rule,

Am so so disappointing and it made me ask my selt is it the colour of our skins that buy food and alcohol in cubana green point or is it our cash,

Am highly disgusted if this is your management style wow you guys are pathetic.
