Cuban in southgate undermines their customers

On the 4th of May 2019-Me and a group of ladies went to cubana in southgate for late lunch which we planned to stay to stay and enjoy the evening there.

Sadly we had to cut our outing short as we were ill treated by the 2 evening hostesses.

We were sitting from around 3:30 in the afternoon in the smoking area at around 7pm one of our friend said let's settle the bill coz she's living then we can continue we did that. After we settled the bill few minutes later a new waiter comes to us thinking he's there to take our order. Nope he's there to tell us we cant sit there as after 7pm the area is a vip section and we must buy a bottle worth R1500. Therefore they cant serve us. Then I asked why weren't we told about this when we sat there from the afternoon. Why was it not a vip area in the afternoon. So he went to call the hostess who explained the same thing I then asked where exactly must we move as there was no table open she said let me call the manager, we waited for the manager, then 20 minutes later another girl comes and says you cant sit here I asked is she the manager she responded no a hostess I told her we waiting for a manager. Then new waiter, 2 hostesses were just chatting a distance from us. My other friends weren't straight to bar to buy drinks as service was not rendered. The manager did not come to us as expected.

We then decided to leave as cubana southgate doesn't care and understand customer service. All they understand is judging people and undermining them based on what they prefer to eat and drink.

I've been to cubana in durban we never had this problem as full as it was when we got there the hostess didn't ask us about how much we want to spend but did her outmost best to find us a table and accomodate us.

As we left the two hostesses laughed at my two friends as they were walking out. Further to that as we walked out we said goodbye to the ladies they rolled their eyes. I wouldn't recommend cubana southgate to any of my friends after this experience.

If they are used to those ladies that come there with blessers to recognize and respect them. Little did they know we are our blessers. Im trully disgusted by those ladies.
