BAD SERVICE

My boyfriend and I were deciding where to go for dinner on Sunday and chose Cubana. When we were asked if we could be seated in one of the several couches that were free, we were told that ALL the empty couches were reserved (on a Sunday night at approximately 8:30pm). Upon probing, we were told that we would only be permitted to be seated on a couch if we spent more than R5000. This is the second time that this has happened at the same Cubana.<br> <br> We left the restaurant, obviously, but would like to point out that the establishment lost the patronage of two customers at a time when the restaurant was poorly attended, in order to reserve a seat for no one. It makes no business sense to me personally, however, perhaps it makes sense to the proprietors of Cubana. Regardless, I will not be returning. <br> <br>
