Stay away from CTSA - CAR TRADER SOUTH AFRICA

Like many, we found a car on Auto Trader last year in June. We contacted the dealership advertising and requested to view and do a test drive. That one day, we met with both CTSA agents and the owner of the vehicle. We agreed to purchase as well as having to wait for some minor repairs on the seats. Once payment was done, we waited for delivery of the car and for the agent to register it. We got delivery of the car and kept chasing the agents for registration. The vehicle licence expired on the 31st of December so we went beforehand to renew. Unfortunately, no registration was done. Having back and forth communicating with the agent, he advised he would have it done before the 21 days delay. We received today, after 26 days of expiry, only the previous Owner's document. We now have to do the whole registration process ourselves and pay the penalty fees.
