Cell C handing over non-existent account to debt collectors.

CSS continues to harass me for a Cell C outstanding account. See email below - was sent 13/12/2022 Good day,

Could you please clarify what the outstanding amount is for – I keep getting handed over to debt collectors for accounts I know nothing about. I have 2 contracts with cell c: *** *** These are paid through debit order of R538 per month, no payments have been missed. 2 months ago, an account was handed over to MDB and I paid R646.04 on 30.08.2022. The amount was deducted off my bank account twice and I am still waiting to be credited for the extra payment!!!! ? ****???? I was told that the amount was then paid in full????? I’m sick and tired of speaking to the customer service, it does not help, I want everything in writing at this point.

I have no idea what this is for – I demand a detailed statement before I make any further payment arrangements. I only paid MBD to shut them up so the constant harassment would stop and yet here it continues…. Please provide proof of whatever I owe as I only know of 2 contracts and have 2 simcards.

I have never had a reply but continue to receive SMS'es demanding payment.

I would like this issue to be resolved immediately, can you please assist urgently?
