Waste of Money

The newly created CSOS (Community Schemes Ombud Service) www.csos.org.za is an absolute waste of money and time. The CSOS was established in terms of the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act to regulate the conduct of parties within community schemes and to ensure their good governance. The Community Schemes Ombud Service Act, 2011 (Act 9 of 2011) and the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act, 2011 (Act 8 of 2011) and Regulation thereto were proclaimed on 07 October 2016. We all have to contribute monthly to CSOS. I lodged an application In February 2017 and after lengthy communications, was told that "the Adjudicator will be in contact with parties in due course with further details". In October I now find that my application as been "archived". CSOS is an institution without any substance, unable to assist homeowners. Really not sure why this institution was created ???
