Targus "No lifetime warranty"

Just a heads up to anyone purchasing a Targus product - with a 'lifetime warranty' for a colleague or friend - as was my case on being retired - please as for proof of purchase for your gift (who ever head of such) as without it the warranty is null and void. Several emails to Targus support resulted in being firmly told that without proof of purchase nothing could be done to repair my Targus bag. Despite the fact that when the handle had given me an issue I had taken it in to Incredible Connection and it was replaced without any issues. 2nd time around I was informed that a new group had taken over Targus and the proof of purchase was a pre-requisite. So I am stuck with a bag where the stitching is coming undone.
