For everyone planning a wedding and looking for a decor company.

<p>My Husband and I went to the dome wedding expo and came across a place called CS Events, they guaranteed beautiful decor at a reasonable price.</p> <p>I wanted the plainest and simplest of decor for our wedding. Thankfully my wedding venue already supp**** most of the decor (Big white trees, Mirrors for the trees to stand on, linen etc). All CS events quoted me for was flowers for each table and my bouquets. </p> <p> </p> <p>When I went to see my mock up table, the table looked extremely bare, there was a collection of flowers at the bottom of the tree above the box in which the tree was in and there was one rose in each bauble (of which there were 5 baubles). In that meeting I stated that I thought it all looked too bare and that I wanted to add flowers. I was therefore charged DOUBLE the initial amount. Double of what I was initially charged was quite an ask for us but we managed, thinking we would at least get what we wanted.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was VERY disappointed when I walked into my venue on the 27 August 2016 and saw the flower arrangements. These flower arrangements were exactly the same as in my mock up. Mine and my brides****’s bouquets were underwhelming as I expected a lot more flowers. Also as I picked my bouquet up I was *****ed by one of the pins that were sticking out. This is not something a bride expects on her wedding day.</p> <p> </p> <p>The venue had specified as to which tables to put certain table names on as some tables had 12 people where others had 8. This led to huge confusion with my guests when they were placed at a table catered for 8 people and they were 12 people in total for that particular table. One of my guests actually left the venue as they were so offended. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING A BRIDE SHOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH ON HER WEDDING DAY!</p> <p> </p> <p>I was underwhelmed with the bouquets and deeply upset by the table setting fiasco but the flower arrangements truly were the last straw.</p> <p> </p> <p>Lastly, I received an email from CS events a week later stipulating that they had not received 4 tie backs and one bauble from the venue and they told me that should I not have these items they will be deducted from my initial breakage fee. </p> <p>CS Events also refused to deliver my flowers to my house on the wedding day (which was closer to them than if they had to travel to the wedding venue) unless I paid an extra R150.</p> <p> </p> <p>Another issue I encountered with CS events was that they take very long to get back to you. When they do respond you are not sure who it is you are directly speaking to as each time a new person emails you.</p> <p> </p> <p>I hope that this will help someone in need.</p>
