Age restrictions

Booked a midweek getaway for 2 adults via RCI App. Nowhere did it state that you have to book a seperate room for under 2 year olds. I made an enquiry about their clubhouse with the heated pool asking if my 19 month old may join us seeing that the website stated no under 16year olds allowed in the clubhouse. They declined and requested my confirmation which I have sent where they informed me that "sorry our policy states only 18 months and younger stay for free". Due to my baby being 19 months I had to either upgrade to a 4 sleeper or cancel my booking. If i upgraded i'd have to repay the booking fee...

Nowhere in the T&Cs nor their booking confirmation did it mention anything about min age being 18months instead of 2 years like 90% of the resorts in S.A.

The service received from the lodge was terrible and no one assisted me and I had to cancel my holiday because my baby was 1 MONTH older than their "policy".

Terrible!!
