Appaling Service

<p>My wedding was on Sa****ay 26 March 2016 at Kelvin Grove. I have contracted Crystal Clear Entertainment for the photography and their DJ services. I opted for the R 12,500 package that includes 2 professional Photographers for up to 10 hours plus a Professional sound engineer (DJ) that is SAMRO registered and all sound equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p>Imagine my disappointment when I hear on the morning of the wedding that the DJ will not be available for the day. How can one make a plan B at that point. When we walked out of the ceremony, there was no music. I had to ask why is there no music playing, this is the first time I was told that the DJ is not here for the day. No courtesy phone call from the owner explaining the situation. Up until today I have not had a call apologising or trying to explain what happened, quite frankly I find this appalling.</p> <p> </p> <p>While I did have the music play that I requested on cue, it was done by the photographers. This I find very unprofessional as they had their plates quite full and I have no complaints regarding their service. They made me feel at ease and their service was impeccable. However, expecting them to perform dual functions was unreasonable.</p> <p> </p> <p>My function was the one that suffered with awkward moments of silence. I had to tell someone to play background music at numerous times during the day. I feel this ruined the ambiance after I have adhered to this agreement 100%.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please respond to my email as I feel I did not get what my money was worth, and the service I paid for was not honoured. I feel this is false advertising or is it because I opted for the package where the DJ was included for free why my function was ruined. Someone playing music does not constitute to being a professional sound engineer?!</p> <p> </p> <p>I expect an response with immediate effect before I take this matter further. I have paid your price in full, but expect some reimbur*****t for not delivering what was promised in your contract.</p> <p> </p> <p>To top things of... Its the 1st of June and I have still not heard a word from the supplier. After 4 emails have no one responded. I still dont have my pictures as per the contract. All the number I phone is either disconnected of just rings.</p> <p> </p>
