CRV Auto, ******s of note.

So my vehicle wouldn't start and it was completely dead, I contacted Gerhard at CRV Auto because his company is down the road from my house. He was polite and said he will come tow my vehicle to his workshop and diagnose it the following morning.

The following day around around 11:00 I get a call from Gerhard to inform me he had checked my vehicle and I needed to recon the alternator, R1800.00 and R600 labour, because I needed my vehicle I agreed. Around 13:30 I get a call to say my vehicle is ready. I go pay the full bill and off I go. To cut a very long story short, I had to take it to my mechanic for another noise, only to find out while there CRV auto did not touch my alternator but used insulation tape to tape up a faulty wire. On approaching Gerhard and sending pics etc he claimed he gave me the wrong invoice in error that invoice was for another vehicle (ya right) and said he would charge me R650 labour R350 towing and reimburse the balance (I have a voice note of this) after sending him the amount to reimburse me, he politely changes his story and says no he has to charge me R480 a hour for 4 hours plus towing and give me the balance which was around R500. These guys are ******s, blatant ******* trying to make a quick buck off anyone, I don't and will not recommend anyone take their vehicle here, unless you want to be ****** of your hard earned money.
