Cruiseabout, the "Messabout" travel agency. Where NOT to have your wedding

<p>We decided to use cruiseabout for our lifetime event, getting married. We had 50 guests to go with us...any travel agents ideal client right? Well apparently not. It took the sales guy a week to get back to us, and that was only after we had starting making other calls and ended back at him Then when we asked about the wedding package, the "informed" staff gave us pricing which we agreed to, as it sounded good. After asking on at least 4 occassions if there were any other costs and being told no, we booked and had to get all our guests booked and paid by 10 Feb. However after doing that, suddenly new costs came up. When quering this i was told, they werent aware of this and the package was only for 8 people and we had to pay the difference for the other 42. Bear in mind they had to book all 50, so it wasnt like they didnt know. The staff had little knowlege of the wedding package it seems, so either educate staff or dont sell a product you dont know. You would think, the problem stops there. No.... We get told that as we had done a block booking they had an extra room that had been paid for with the overall booking, so we get two extra guests to join us. Off my two guests go to home affairs get an emergency passport, book accomodation in Durban, take leave, make all the arrangements and are supposed to leave this morning, when it all falls apart again. No apparently they made a mistake, the room is not available. Did they even bother to inform my guests, no...not at all. Had my guests not checked last night where their tickets were, they would be on there way to nowhere. Cruiseabout Clearwater must be the most disorganized travel agency i have had to deal with in all my travels. We on holiday about to board a ship for our wedding and have to deal with poor organization s****s and a lack of communication. Not an ideal way to start our wedding cruise. </p>
