Crown Jewellers Vaal Mall Very Bad Service

Unacceptable service from Crown jewellers in vaal mall!

Took my wedding ring in to get another daimond setted in, they told me it will take 2 weeks. I get a call a week later telling me my ring is finished and ready for collection. Got there, had a look at the ring and noticed a crack on the inside. The lady behind the counter had a look and notice another crack, so 2 cracks on my wedding ring now! They told me that they will send the ring back to get the cracks fixed and apologised for the inconvenience. I get a call a day later to inform me that my ring is fixed, got there, looked at my ring and noticed that there is still a crack, they had a look and said it is a dirty spot and tried to wipe it clean but the crack is still there. Again they apologised and said that they will send it back, get a call 2 days later, lady over the phone told me the ring is ready for collection. All excited go there and have a look, no cracks but it is bent and have a bigger gap on the one side than the other. I told the lady that i don't want to be a nuisance but there is a big gap and the ring is bent. She had a look and called the other guy behind the counter, after a while he came to have a look and i showed him that the gap is bigger on the one side. He then informed me that he can't send it back because it will be the fourth time that they are sending it to the workshop and that the technician is getting upset because he keeps on getting the same ring back. The guy told me to take the ring to the workshop in Three Rivers myself and inform the technician what is wrong. I told him that if i do that the responsibility will be on me and they will say i did that to my ring. He said he wants to see me walk out the door happy and i rep**** that i'm not happy and that i'm supposed to be proud to wear my wedding ring. They must be proud of their work. He again said i must go to their workshop and that the owner is there aswell. I asked the guy to test all the daimonds to make sure all are still true and he did, i left with my ring and i know i shouldn't have because that is very bad service from them to tell a client to take their own ring in but i no longer wanted Crown Jewellers to have possession of my wedding ring.

Crown Jewellers do not care about their customers but they are very quick to take your money even before the job has been completed.
