I signed a contract for gym for my 12yo son seeing that he can't sign. At the time thinking that I was simply signing him up and not realizing it was a 12 month contract and not month to month.

Who on earth knows in advance what a 12yo schedule is going to be like?

The times/classes are fixed and at set times. Not flexible at all.

He literally only attended 5 times or less.

I subsequently canceled as he was unable to go at set times due to school, rugby practice, exams etc.

I received summons for a HUGE amount which seems completely unfair.

I tried to enter into an agreement with the attorney but they are not willing to budge and demand immediate payment to enter into said agreement.

The monthly repayment amount is higher than what the gym membership fees originally were!
