Unwilling to assist with bad quality shoes

I purchased a pair of casual wear Puma shoes from the Sandton City branch on 22 May 2015. 3 weeks of casual use later, the exterior coat/layer of the shoes is peeling off, arguably from some sort of light contact. You can see from the rest of the shoe that it hasn't been abused or anything, just average use. This quality of product is really shocking, so I took it back to the store, who sent it to head/office to inspect. Sure enough, head office responds saying it's not a factory fault and they are not even slightly inclined to anything about it. <br> <br> Wear and tear on shoes is fair enough, but this is just shocking. I paid R1500 for shoes that can't even last 3 weeks. Am I supposed to keep the shoes at home in a display cabinet? If Cross Trainer aren't willing to guarantee the quality of the products they sell, how do you expect people to shop with you again?<br> <br>
