Refused to assist / Damaged Goods

Two months ago I bought a pair of Nike sneakers for my daughter at the Cross Trainer in Rosebank @ The Zone. 2 weeks ago I noticed that the stitches of the left shoe were coming out. I then decided to take them back to were I had bought them - with proof of purchase. The staff there tried to assist but was informed that the regional manager there refused to help. He said that it is not their fault that the shoe is damaged and that there is nothing they can do to help me. I was then sent back with those sneakers. I used to be a big fan of Nike sneakers but thanks to Cross Trainer at The Zone Rosebank I will not purchase their products any more. As for the Cross Trainer @ The Zone, I am so disappointed at the way this issue was handled, especially after spending about R2000 at their shop in less than 2 months. I am very disappointed in Nike as a brand / quality of product and the way my issue was handled by the Cross Trainer in The Zone - Rosebank, I will never buy from this outlet any more, as well as my family and friends. Other retailers handle issues like this one differently and professional. I have proof of that.
