Nike Shox

I purchased a pair of Nike Shox from Cross Trainer Clearwater Mall in June 2016. The shoe fit well as it is my size.

I wore it the first time for a few hours and i had immense paid on my right foot as my toes started to crunch and being diabetic i suffered pain in my legs for a couple of days, i just brushed that off because i thought its a new takkie and basically i need to wear it a few times more times to run it in. The second and time was the same. The third time was also the same and then i realised that i have been wearing Nike takkies for the past 25 years and never have i experienced such immense pain.

I then contacted the Cross Trainer Clearwater Branch and explained my story to the assistant and she said she will call be back, 3 weeks went by no call and decided to go back to the store. She mentioned she forgot to phone but i must bring the Nike Shox into the store as the Area Manger Michael will make the decision on the takkie. The next week i brought the Takkie to the store and was promised by the store manager that he will call me by the Friday of the same week, never received that call as well.

I called the Head Office and spoke to Michael whos stated he was the area Manager but this guy was the most UNPROFESSIONAL person i spoke to, if i ask him something regarding the takkie he will answers will be totally different. He mentioned that he cannot do anything for me because the inner sole was faded on the right leg and that was after me telling him my story. He also mentioned that a genteleman by the name of Jean from their head office has viewed the takkie and made the decision to hand it back to me. I then contacted the head office spoke to Jean and he then stated that he has never seen the takkie neither did he make any decision regarding the takkie. Michael THE AREA MANAGER **** TO ME.

I then spoke to a Operations Manager by the name of Gilbert who plain down is a blatant **** because he said he will call me back but never did. I told him as i told all his other staff that i wanted them to stretch the takkie to make it wearable , he mentioned that he will speak to JP who is his Manager and they will call me back ,still waiting for that call as well.

Spoke to JP on the 28 October 2016 and i told him my story and he agreed that the inner sole will be faded and Michael was wrong. He aslo stated being Friday afternoon he will call me back on Saturday the 29/10/2016. i received no call and i called him on his land line Monday Morning but he mentioned he was in a meeting, my question is to why do you answer your phone if you are in a meeting. Secondly he said that he thought Gilbert is going to call me on Friday Yet he mentioned to me that it was late on Friday when i called he will call the next day.

Called the head office again yesterday and the switchboad lady told me that she will send an e-mail to JP and cc the CEO Chris to contact me yet none of them have made an effort to call me.

Lastly i am diabetic and cannot be wearing tight shoes as it hinders the blood flow to my legs thereafter i suffer with immense pain. My toes are getting scrunched in the takkie. I have been wearing Nike Takie for the past 25 years and have never has this type of problems before.

The Nike Shox was purchased for R1700 and yet it is the most uncomfortable takkie and i believe that this pair has a fault in it.

Is Nike now making takkies that you cannot wear anymore.

Highly Frustrated.
