Cross Trainer *****ing client's money

On the 5th October 2020 I've sent my wife to do a layby at Cross Trainer Shop L7 in Sandton city. The layby was due in six months time which is the 1st of May according to the receipt. On the 4th of April 2021 my wife to pay up th layby , to her suprise she was told the layby has expired she then asked for refund since the layby expired before expiry date, the receipt state well that a 10% cancellation fee will be levied.

They refused to refund her telling her she lost her money due to expired layby, when she tried tell them it is still before due date they told her they received communication on the 3rd of April from the head office that all laybys to be cancelled and all clients who laybyed with them will forfeit their deposits.

No notice given to clients and why do we have to forfeit our deposits whereas their receipts state the expiring date and what about the 10%they mentioned. Is this how they run their business *****ing from the poor thats theft. That's ******** activity happening in a big shopping centre in the country.

We as consumers are been **********. I want my money back and i don't want to do any businesses with you.
