Blatent disrgard for consumers rights
I purchsed a R1900 sneaker from cross trainer store in gateway.The sneaker is hardly worn over the past 2 months and I returned in due to inner lining tearing apart primarily. I was a told by the manager that he has to send it for inspection to jhb. I then received an email response stating that the sneaker was not bought in that condition and they see no factory fault so no credit or refund . I am appauled at this. I have spent thousands at this store . I will be taking this matter up all the way with the consumer tribunal and need be my lawyer and claim court. This is blatant disregard for the consumer.

Hi Zaheer,
After careful consideration on the complaint above we have gone for a second opinion on the inspection of your Jordan retro 5 and the following findings were concluded:
Padded inner lining tearing: As part of the construction of the mid calf on the shoe this feature which is in the inside of the shoe could only have torn as a result of being bitten off or a sharp object accidentally tearing the apart.
The Blue colour that showed fading on the shoes is clearly not part of the shoe composition as the shoe does not have this colour mix to run off .
In conclusion The Cross Trainer will not be passing a credit on this shoe as we believe it there is no defect that could have been coursed by poor workmanship or usage of inferior material .
